We're back in Coral Gables this week, revealing the Family Room and Patio from Project Namastay in the Gables.

FAMILY ROOM

With all the greenery outside those gorgeous windows, this little room feels like it's tucked away in a jungle! The way the light filters in through the leaves is magical, and we can totally picture afternoons spent here lounging on the cozy sofas.

We went with an L-shaped sofa arrangement in this space to maximize seating, which also allowed us to utilize our client's existing white slipcovered sofa. We paired the slipcovered style with a new loveseat featuring an open wood base and cool grey upholstery for a more eclectic mix. Our favorite little design moment has to be the reading corner with the curvy rattan accent chair and carved wood side table - the view from the hall leading in to this space is the perfect little vignette!

PATIO

All of the french doors along the back of the house open out to the back patio/pool area, where we added a cozy seating area and a dining area designed with outdoor entertaining in mind. With neutrals and natural texture as the foundation, we layered in groupings of lush greenery in monochromatic white planters to create an elevated tropical vibe.

The seating area is anchored by one of our favorite indoor/outdoor rugs - it has a beautiful pebbled texture and can be sprayed down with the hose for easy maintenance.
